The keys are responsive and sit at a “Goldilocks” travel level not enough travel to fatigue your fingers, but just enough to provide a satisfying feeling for both rapid typing and slower pecks. Its keyboard is satisfying and adequately spaced, reducing spread without feeling too cramped. The Spin 514 is clearly built for comfort.
Overall a very comfortable laptop, especially the keyboard.
